Sodexo at San Francisco State University is seeking a Grill Cook to join a dedicated kitchen team. You’ll prepare and present a variety of hot and cold dishes with attention to taste and plate presentation, while keeping service at the heart of what you do.

You'll read recipes, measure ingredients, and operate a grill station, fryer, and other kitchen equipment. Flexible shifts and a comprehensive benefits package are provided.

Qualifications

• Read and measure/mix ingredients according to recipe(s).
• Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, grill, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for meals.
• Attend work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity.
• Ability to operate a grill station, fryer, and other kitchen equipment.

• Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, grill, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Special/Catered Events.
• Read and measure/mix ingredients according to recipe(s).
• May prepare food and serve customers at an a la carte and/or operate a grill station, fryer, and other kitchen equipment.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities.
