Job summary

Sodexo is looking for a Grill Cook in Missouri to join our food service team. You will prepare and present a variety of hot and cold items, focusing on quality, customer service, and food safety.

This full-time position offers weekday morning and afternoon/evening shifts, competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for development. You will work with a team dedicated to delivering a great dining experience.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of related experience is beneficial.
• Team-oriented, adaptable, reliable, and safety-conscious.
• Willing to work mornings and evenings as per shifts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, portion, grill, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Special/Catered Events.
• Read and measure ingredients according to recipes.
• May operate a grill station, fryer, and other kitchen equipment and serve customers.
• Attend work and shifts on time with satisfactory regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned as required.

Pay Range: $16 per hour - $25.79 per hour

What You’ll Do: As a Grill Cook at Sodexo, you are a team player and food waste reducer. You’ll prepare and create nutritious dishes while putting customer service at the heart of everything you do. Your passion for food and warm smile will make a positive impact and brighten the day of those you serve.

Responsibilities include:

• Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, grill, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods: to include Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Special/Catered Events.

• Read and measure/mix ingredients according to recipe(s)

• May prepare food and serve customers at an a la carte and/or operate a grill station, fryer, and other kitchen equipment

• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity

• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
