About The Grill Cook Position

Logan Inn is seeking an experienced Grill Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and stocking the grill station for service
• Maintaining proper mise en place
• Cooking menu items to Logan Inn standards, and ensuring consistency and quality on every plate.
• The Grill Cook must also properly handle, rotate, and maintain all proteins, including portioning, storage, temperature control, and freshness standards.

Prior line cook or grill experience is preferred. Competitive pay based on experience.

Line Cook Requirements

• 2+ years experience as a Line or Grill Cook
• High school diploma required; culinary certificate or degree preferred
• Strong knowledge of best restaurant practices and cooking methods, including safe knife-handling skills
• Superb attention to detail while being able to work quickly and efficiently
• Excellent multitasking and organizational skills while working in a fast-paced environment
• Must be a motivated team player
