Job summary

Sodexo at Concordia University Wisconsin is seeking a Grill Cook who thrives in a team environment and is passionate about food quality and guest service. You’ll help create nutritious dishes and maintain a positive dining experience for students, faculty, and guests, with a focus on safety and waste reduction.

Shifts are afternoon/evening with full-time or part-time options. Expect varied responsibilities from grilling and portioning to reading recipes, serving at the counter, and supporting

• 0–2 years of related kitchen experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, grill, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Special/Catered Events.
• Read and measure/mix ingredients according to recipe(s).
• May prepare food and serve customers at an a la carte and/or operate a grill station, fryer, and other kitchen equipment.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.

Location: CONCORDIA UNIVERSITY WISCONSIN - 61200002

Workdays/shifts : Afternoon/evenings - varying days. More details will be provided during the interview process.

Employment Type: Full-Time or Part-Time

Pay Range: $17 per hour - $19 per hour

What You’ll Do:

As a Grill Cook at Sodexo, you are a team player and food waste reducer. You'll prepare and create nutritious dishes while putting customer service at the heart of everything you do. Your passion for food and warm smile will make a positive impact and brighten the day of those you serve.

Responsibilities include:

• Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, grill, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods: to include Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Special/Catered Events.

• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
