Sodexo is hiring a Grill Cook at Colorado School of Mines. You will be part of a kitchen team, preparing nutritious dishes and delivering friendly service to guests across breakfast, lunch, and dinner periods. The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and a safety-conscious work environment.

With 0–2 years of related experience, you will operate grill stations, read recipes, and help ensure high-quality meals while supporting a positive dining experience across events and daily service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, portion, grill, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and catered events.

• Attend shifts on time with satisfactory regularity.
• Perform other duties as assigned based on client needs.

Employment Type: Full-time

Pay Range: $21 per hour - $23.00 per hour

What You’ll Do

As a Grill Cook at Sodexo, you are a team player and food waste reducer. You’ll prepare and create nutritious dishes while putting customer service at the heart of everything you do. Your passion for food and warm smile will make a positive impact and brighten the day of those you serve.

Responsibilities include

• Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, grill, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods: to include Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Special/Catered Events.
• Read and measure/mix ingredients according to recipe(s)
• May prepare food and serve customers at an a la carte and/or operate a grill station, fryer, and other kitchen equipment
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
