Sodexo is hiring a Grill Cook in the United States. This full-time position involves preparing and presenting nutritious dishes with a focus on customer service. Shifts include mornings and afternoons, with some weekends and holidays. Pay is $20 per hour, with benefits and opportunities for growth.

You’ll be a team player, maintain a safe work environment, and contribute to a positive guest experience while adhering to culinary standards and client requirements.

• 0–2 years of related kitchen experience preferred.

• Prepare, portion, grill, and present hot and cold items for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and events.
• Read and measure ingredients according to recipes.
• May operate grill station, fryer, and other kitchen equipment.
• Attend shifts on time with regularity.
• Perform other duties as needed per client requirements.

What You’ll Do: As a Grill Cook at Sodexo, you are a team player and food waste reducer. You’ll prepare and create nutritious dishes while putting customer service at the heart of everything you do. Your passion for food and warm smile will make a positive impact and brighten the day of those you serve.

Responsibilities include:

• Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, grill, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods: to include Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Special/Catered Events.
• Read and measure/mix ingredients according to recipe(s)
• May prepare food and serve customers at an a la carte and/or operate a grill station, fryer, and other kitchen equipment
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
