Sodexo is seeking a Grill Cook at the University of Texas at Austin campus. You will prepare and present a variety of hot and cold items, focusing on quality and customer service. The role requires a team player who can adapt to varying shifts and busy meal periods.

As part of our Sodexo team, you’ll contribute to a safe, clean kitchen environment and participate in ongoing training and development opportunities. Full-time hours with competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Responsabilités

• Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, grill, and present hot/cold items for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and events.
• Read and measure ingredients according to recipes.
• May operate grill stations, fryers and other kitchen equipment.

Employment Type: Full-time

Pay Range: $18.25 - $23.00

What You’ll Do

As a Grill Cook at Sodexo, you are a team player and food waste reducer. You’ll prepare and create nutritious dishes while putting customer service at the heart of everything you do. Your passion for food and warm smile will make a positive impact and brighten the day of those you serve.

Responsibilities include

• Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, grill, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods: to include Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Special/Catered Events.
• Read and measure/mix ingredients according to recipe(s)
• May prepare food and serve customers at an a la carte and/or operate a grill station, fryer, and other kitchen equipment
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
