Job Description Summary

Senior software architect responsible for coordinating across a portfolio of products deployed in Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) environments globally.

About GE Vernova

This role partners with lead software architects in cybersecurity, data, power transmission, and distribution to ensure secure, high-performance, and scalable designs. Reporting to the VP of Engineering, the individual will drive architectural strategy and oversee the development of GridOS products, leading technical vision and best practices for a modern microservice architecture.

Responsibilities

• Formalize Data Models and API Standards for GridOS applications.
• Implement and promote CIM standards for data exchange.
• Participate in architecture reviews and lead related decisions.
• Collaborate with teams to establish and document architectural standards.
• Manage dependencies and plan backlogs across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or STEM with at least 8 years of experience.
• Extensive experience in data architecture, microservices, API standards, and energy industry technologies.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, CI/CD, DevSecOps, and mobile architecture.

Additional Knowledge (Advantageous)

• Experience with SCADA, geospatial modeling, and GE solutions like ADMS, OMS.

Additional Information

Salary range: $185,840 - $232,300, with a 20% variable bonus. Benefits include health coverage, retirement plans, tuition and adoption assistance, paid leave, and more. The role is based in the US, with no relocation assistance provided. The position is full-time, mid-senior level, in engineering and IT within the electric power industry.
