Job summary

Hitachi Energy seeks a Construction Manager to lead field execution on power transmission, substation, HVDC, and grid integration projects. You will plan, coordinate, and oversee mobilization through completion, ensuring safety, schedule, budget, and quality targets are met.

The role offers exposure to large-scale grid projects, collaboration with project managers, engineering teams, and subcontractors. A bachelor's degree and 5+ years CM experience are required; Primavera P6 and MS Project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CM or related engineering field.
• 5+ years construction management experience in power/utility/substation/EPC.
• Knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, cost control, and contract administration.
• Experience managing subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with OSHA and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate site construction activities from mobilization to completion.
• Develop and implement construction execution plans and schedules.
• Monitor progress, costs, and schedule, taking corrective actions.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
• Review drawings, specifications, and contracts for constructability.
• Coordinate mobilization, logistics, and material management.
• Manage change orders, risk mitigation, and project documentation.
• Support commissioning and project closeout.
