Qualifications

• Experience in economic transmission planning and interconnection studies.
• Ability to translate complex electrical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience managing external consultants and contractors.
• Knowledge of high voltage equipment and interconnection tariffs.

Responsibilities

• Manage the utility interconnection and grid integration for new power plants.
• Perform economic transmission planning using PROMOD.
• Provide technical leadership for interconnection studies, standards, and agreements.
• Oversee external consultants for interconnection modeling and load-flow studies.
• Understand interconnection tariffs for utilities and system operators.
• Contribute to early-stage development with strategic interconnections input.
• Lead HV design and commissioning to meet interconnection requirements.
• Coordinate with transmission and substation design activities with EPCs.
• Support regulatory strategy on interconnection and grid policies.
• Collaborate with development teams on permit submittals and proposals.
