SB Energy in Denver, CO seeks a Manager, Grid Integration – Power Projects (CAISO) to support interconnection, transmission and commissioning for utility-scale generation. You will collaborate with senior team members to drive development from early stages to commercial operation.

The ideal candidate has strong electrical engineering fundamentals, project management skills, and CAISO interconnection experience, with up to 20% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
• 3–7 years of experience in power systems, transmission planning, grid integration, or renewable energy development.
• Working knowledge of CAISO generator and large-load interconnection processes.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsabilités

• Support generator interconnection activities across the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate CAISO interconnection requests and related docs.
• Review interconnection applications, study and interconnection agreements.
• Coordinate with CAISO, transmission providers, utilities, and teams.
• Track milestones to maintain development schedules.
• Assist with power flow and congestion analyses and project siting.
