Responsibilities

• Control, direct and monitor electric substations, networks and distribution facilities; adjust load, voltage and reactive power.
• Direct switching operations and routine testing; administer clearance and control rules.
• Monitor alarms, record readings and dispatch personnel as required.
• Respond to trouble calls and coordinate restoration procedures during disturbances.
