Job summary

Delaware North Gaming is hiring full-time Greyhound Racing Leadouts to join our team at Wheeling Island Casino in Wheeling, West Virginia. As a Racing Leadout, you will be responsible for handling and caring for the greyhounds in the paddock and while they are in route to the starting box.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift and transport greyhounds weighing up to 70 pounds.
• Must be able to run or jog up to 100 yards per night.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Lead dogs to the starting box and place them inside.
• Ensure injured or fallen dogs are safely removed from the track or going in the correct direction.
• Perform weigh-ins.
• Lead dogs back to lockout kennel and put them in the correct crates.

$14.90 - $14.90 / hour
