Do you want to work in a fast-paced back-of-house environment, preparing dishes from an ever-changing and innovative menu? Can you remain calm and adaptable under pressure? Can you maintain attention to detail when in a hectic environment? If yes, New Realm Brewing Co. wants you to join our team as a cook, under our Executive Chef! Our ideal candidate will be collaborative, energetic and upbeat, self-motivated and disciplined. You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for glassware, tableware, pots and pans, utensils, etc. via both machine-assisted and manual washing methods. You will also ensure that all relevant machines are in proper working order and that the operation is stocked with necessary chemicals. He/she will ensure that glassware, tableware, plates, etc. are stocked appropriately for colleagues’ use. He/she will assist in cleaning kitchen areas.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Be timely and dependable.
• Ensure that cleanliness and sanitation standards are met for glassware, tableware, smallwares, utensils, etc.
• Maintain a scrupulously clean, appropriately-stocked, mechanically well-maintained workspace.
• Support BOH staff in their duties.
• Assist in preserving a safe and secure work environment.
• Follow all safety requirements and training with the dish machine.
• Consistently meet all best practice standards set in employee handbook and during training.

Experience

High School or better is preferred but not required.

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively present our menu to guests and answer questions. Must be able to speak English.
