Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Parks and Recreation, Landscaping, Engineering, Design, Environmental Science, or closely related field with 3 years of experience in parks and recreation programs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates trail development with outside consultants and public groups.
• Maintains and enhances Clayton County Greenspace properties and Reynolds Nature Preserve.
• Manages property acquisitions and development-related activities.
• Oversees administrative tasks, budgeting, and compliance with policies.
• Supervises staff, volunteers, and student assistants; conducts performance reviews.
• Plans and oversees recreational and educational programs and conservation projects.
• Prepares annual budget and maintains financial records; oversees marketing efforts.

Education
