Job summary

Cape Royal Golf Club in Cape Coral, FL, is hiring a full-time Greenskeeper II to help maintain greens, tees, fairways and related grounds, ensuring a positive experience for members and guests. As an associate of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Qualifications

• Duties require ability to read and speak English.
• Education/Experience: less than high school, or up to 3 months related experience or training, or equivalent combination.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Performs landscape maintenance using hand held equipment.
• Rakes sand traps with power rake, aerifies greens and tees.
• Operates small machinery to assist with edging, trimming and mowing.
• Prepares soil beds for sod, seed and vegetative material.
• Operates walking equipment in mowing greens collars and tees.
• Assists with fertilizer applications on tees, fairways and rough areas.
• Operates riding equipment in mowing fairways, approaches and rough.
• Operates sod cutter, trencher and tamper for routine projects.
• Operates dump truck and tractors for hauling purposes.
• Involved with tasks related to course detail (weed and debris clean up).
• Assists with golf course set-up procedures.
• Operates utility vehicles for hauling material and removing debris.
• Performs skilled duties related to experience (pruning, plugging, etc.).
• Operates equipment safely and is aware of associates and their respective work areas.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as required.
