Job summary

Grand Lake Golf Club in Montgomery, TX, part of Troon, is seeking a motivated Greenskeeper I to join our outdoors-focused team. You will perform landscape maintenance, rake bunkers, operate small machinery, and assist with course setup to maintain pristine playing surfaces.

Hours are 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM with potential weekend work; outdoor work in hot summers and cold winters requires reliability and safety, with benefits including healthcare, retirement plans, and PTO.

Qualifications

• One month related experience or training.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Performs general landscape maintenance using hand held equipment.
• Rakes and maintains sand bunkers.
• Operates small machinery to assist with edging, trimming and mowing.
• Prepares soil beds for sod, seed and vegetative material.
• Involved with tasks related to course detail (weed and debris clean up).
• Assists with golf course set-up procedures.
• Operates utility vehicles for hauling material and removing debris.
• Performs skilled duties related to experience (pruning, plugging, etc.).
• Operates equipment safely and is aware of associates and their prospective work areas.
