Job summary

A hospitality-focused golf club in Fargo is seeking a full-time Greenskeeper I to ensure the maintenance of the golf course. Responsibilities include performing general landscape maintenance, operating small machinery, and assisting with set-up procedures. Candidates should have at least one month of related experience and must possess a valid driver's license. The role requires reliability and safe work practices, with early morning shifts from 4:45 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• Regular and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Perform general landscape maintenance using hand held equipment.
• Rake and maintain sand bunkers.
• Operate small machinery for edging, trimming, and mowing.
• Prepare soil beds for sod, seed, and vegetative material.
• Assist with course detail (weed and debris clean up).
• Assist with golf course set-up procedures.
• Operate utility vehicles for hauling material and debris removal.
• Perform skilled duties as per experience (pruning, plugging, etc.).
• Operate equipment safely and be aware of associates.
• Incorporate safe work practices in job performance.
• Perform other duties as required.

Key Responsibilities of the Greenskeeper I

• Performs general landscape maintenance using hand held equipment
• Rakes and maintains sand bunkers.
• Operates small machinery to assist with edging, trimming and mowing.
• Prepares soil beds for sod, seed and vegetative material.
• Involved with tasks related to course detail (weed and debris clean up).
• Assists with golf course set-up procedures.
• Operates utility vehicles for hauling material and removing debris.
• Performs skilled duties related to experience (pruning, plugging, etc.).
• Operates equipment safely and is aware of associates and their prospective work areas.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications for the Greenskeeper I

• One month related experience or training.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
