Job summary

Grass Clippings/Rolling Hills Golf Course in Tempe, AZ is hiring Greenskeeper I to support daily golf course maintenance and course setup. You will use hand tools and small machinery to maintain turf, sand bunkers, and soil beds while contributing to a clean, safe environment for guests and staff.

The role requires at least a month of related experience or training and a valid driver’s license. Regular attendance and reliability are essential to success in this hospitality setting.

Responsibilities

• General landscape maintenance using hand tools and equipment.
• Maintain sand bunkers and grooming areas.
• Operate small machinery for edging, trimming, and mowing.
• Prepare soil beds for sod, seed, and vegetative material.
• Assist with course detail, weed and debris cleanup.
• Support golf course set-up procedures.
• Operate utility vehicles to haul material and remove debris.
• Perform pruning and other skilled tasks as needed.
• Follow safety practices and coordinate with teammates.

Grass Clippings/Rolling Hills Golf Course is excited to announce the exceptional career opportunity of Greenskeeper I. Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service.

$17 - $20 per hour

Key Responsibilities of the Greenskeeper I:

• Performs general landscape maintenance using hand held equipment


• Rakes and maintains sand bunkers.


• Operates small machinery to assist with edging, trimming and mowing.


• Prepares soil beds for sod, seed and vegetative material.


• Involved with tasks related to course detail (weed and debris clean up).


• Assists with golf course set-up procedures.


• Operates utility vehicles for hauling material and removing debris.


• Performs skilled duties related to experience (pruning, plugging, etc.).


• Operates equipment safely and is aware of associates and their prospective work areas.


• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.


• Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications for the Greenskeeper I:

• One month related experience or training.


• Must have a valid driver's license.
