Job summary

A local government department is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Worker in Euless, TX. This role involves operating various tools and vehicles to maintain golf course grounds, including mowing, trimming, and watering areas. The ideal candidate should be at least 16 years old with a valid Texas driver’s license. Previous knowledge of golf course operations is preferred but not essential. Physical ability to lift up to 90 lbs. and work in varied weather conditions is required. Competitive pay rate between $16.00 and $18.00 depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Operates mowers and performs light maintenance on all equipment in use.
• Mows and trims all areas maintained on the golf course and edges all areas as needed.
• Assists in maintaining flower beds and horticulture areas, as well as trimming trees.
• Maintains and cleans all golf course grounds; removes trash and cleans all areas of the golf course and clubhouse.
• Uses chipper for disposal of limbs and trees.
• Operates chain saws, blowers, edgers, hedge trimmers, leaf vacuum, greens mowers, tee mowers, trap rake, weed eater, fly mower, and any other equipment as needed.
• Waters greens and other areas as directed.

Job Summary

Maintains grounds on and around the Golf Course by operating weed eaters, mowers, hand tools (including shovels, axes, etc.), and chain saws. Drives utility vehicle, or other vehicles as required. Waters greens, tees, and other grassed and landscaped areas.
