Job summary

Purgatory Golf Club in Noblesville, IN is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain the golf course grounds and surrounding facilities. We welcome beginners and offer opportunities to learn and grow within the Troon family of properties.

Responsibilities include mowing, irrigation, soil prep, seeding, fertilizing, pruning, and general landscape upkeep. Strong safety practices and ability to work extended hours during peak seasons are desired.

Qualifications

• Less than high school education or up to one month of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid Driver’s License may be required.
• Ability to read and speak English may be required to perform duties and operate equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintains clean and organized work areas on the golf course and maintenance facility.
• Mows greens, approaches, fairways, rough, tees and other areas.
• Waters tees, greens and fairways; operates irrigation heads and repairs irrigation system as needed.
• Grades and prepares soil base, lays sod and seeds greens, tees and fairways.
• Trims and prunes hedges and shrubbery; cleans flower beds.
• Applies pesticides and fertilizer to the golf course.
• Performs related duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
