Job summary

Empire National Inc. is seeking a dedicated Team Driver with a Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) to join our fleet in Greensboro, NC. As a team driver, you will operate Class A commercial vehicles, ensuring safe and timely deliveries while working closely with your driving partner.

Applicants should be at least 23 years old and possess a valid medical card. Experience with electronic equipment and a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) are essential. Competitive pay includes up to 67cpm per driver and performance bonuses.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Class A CDL and valid medical card.
• Driver should not be prohibited in DOT Clearinghouse.
• Must be at least 23 years old.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class A commercial vehicles as a team adhering to safety regulations.
• Transport goods over designated routes maintaining safety and schedules.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Collaborate with partner to manage driving shifts.
• Maintain accurate records of hours of service and deliveries.

As a team driver, you and your partner will work together to safely and efficiently transport goods, ensuring timely deliveries and superior service.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class A commercial motor vehicles as a team, adhering to all state and federal regulations.
• Transport goods over designated routes, maintaining safety and delivery schedules.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, ensuring the vehicle's safe and reliable operation.
• Collaborate with your driving partner to effectively manage driving shifts.
• Maintain accurate records of hours of service, fuel and delivery documentation.
• Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and team members professionally.

Qualifications

• Must possess a class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) & a valid medical card.
• Experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, ELD units, tablet, etc).
• Ability to drive long hours at a time.
• The driver should not be prohibited in DOT Clearinghouse.
• Must be at least 23 years old.
• Must have acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no DUI in the last 5 years.
• Ability to follow instructions and complete required safety training when needed.
• Preferable 2+ years of experience.
• Must be able to have flexibility with departure schedules.
