Job summary

Empire National Inc. is looking for a dedicated Team Driver with a Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) to join our fleet in Greensboro, NC. The position offers competitive pay, including up to 67 cents per mile for each team member, along with performance-based bonuses and fuel incentives.

Responsibilities include operating commercial vehicles safely, adhering to regulations, and maintaining records. Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of experience, and must be flexible with schedules and possess a clean MVR.

Qualifications

• Must possess a class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) & a valid medical card.
• Experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, ELD units, tablet, etc).
• Must be at least 23 years old.
• Must have acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) (No DUI in the last 5 years).
• Preferable 2+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class A commercial motor vehicles as a team, adhering to all state and federal regulations.
• Transport goods over designated routes, maintaining safety and delivery schedules.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Collaborate with your driving partner to manage driving shifts.
• Maintain accurate records of hours of service.

• Operate Class A commercial motor vehicles as a team, adhering to all state and federal regulations.
• Transport goods over designated routes, maintaining safety and delivery schedules.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, ensuring the vehicle's safe and reliable operation.
• Collaborate with your driving partner to effectively manage driving shifts.
• Maintain accurate records of hours of service, fuel and delivery documentation.
• Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and team members professionally.

Requirements

• Must possess a class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) & a valid medical card.
• Experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, ELD units, tablet, etc).
• Ability to drive long hours at a time.
• The driver should not be prohibited in DOT Clearinghouse.
• Must be at least 23 years old.
• Must have acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) (No DUI in the last 5 years).
• Ability to follow instructions and complete required safety training when needed.
• Preferable 2+ years of experience.
• Must be able to have flexibility with departure schedules.
