Job summary

The City of Baltimore is seeking a Greening Coordinator in the Community Planning and Revitalization Division to advance neighborhood greening projects from planning through implementation. You will work with residents, City agencies, grantees, and contractors to coordinate vacant-lot greening and site priorities.

Responsibilities include administering related grants and contracts and helping improve policies and procedures to support equitable, sustained greening.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in urban/regional planning or a closely related field.
• Two years of urban, regional, transportation, environmental, sustainability, food access, emergency or historic designation planning experience.
• Equivalency between education and experience allowed.
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.

• Move neighborhood greening projects from planning through implementation.
