Job summary

Len Busch Roses in Minnesota is seeking workers to execute production plans for high-quality plants and flowers. The role includes harvesting, processing, planting, spacing, canopy and pest management, and light maintenance tasks. Forklift operation may be required.

The position requires ability to lift up to 52 pounds, exposure to extreme temperatures, and on-the-job training is provided. 27 openings for full-time, day shift, on-site work with benefits under MN labor regulations.

• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Perform basic math, such as ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include color vision and ability to adjust focus.

Work hours: 40 hours/week, Monday - Friday, 8 hours/day, 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Execute production plans to produce high-quality plants and flowers; harvest, process, plant, space and clear plants and flowers; manage canopy and pests; perform routine cleaning, inspection, lubrication, precision checks, and other light maintenance tasks including simple replacements and repairs of facility and equipment; perform duties while meeting quality specifications and safety requirements; may operate forklift.

Minimum Education Required

None. No High School Diploma or GED required.

Minimum Experience Required

No Formal Education Or Previous Experience Required.

On-the-job training will be provided.

Must be able to lift and carry up to 52 pounds.

Must be able to sit, stand, walk, reach, grasp.

Job will require exposure to extreme temperatures.

Extensive pushing and pulling is required.

Extensive walking or sitting is required.

Frequent stooping or bending over is required.

• Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance.
• Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance.
• Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $16.78 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts (Updated 04/07/2026).
• Required work-related tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.
• Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, an employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) per year, provided the employee works a minimum of 80 hours in a calendar year.
