Job summary

English Gardens is seeking Seasonal Sales Associates to join our greenhouse team for Fall/Winter seasons in Plymouth, MI. You will create Fresh Greens Porch Pots and Wreaths and fulfill customer specialty requests, working outside in cold weather. Associates interact with customers to meet sales goals daily.

Must enjoy customer service and be energetic, friendly, and willing to learn product knowledge while maintaining display and inventory accuracy. Weekend availability is required.

English Gardens is NowHiring Seasonal Sales Associates to work in the Greenhouse for our Fall/Winter season! The primary responsibility of this job is to create Fresh Greens Porch Pots and Wreaths for sale and to complete customer specialty requests. You will work in the Greenhouse- considered an outside position and you must be able to work in cold weather.
Our Seasonal Associates play a very important role inthe success of our stores. All Associates interact with customers and areresponsible for meeting sales goals and exceeding customer expectations on adaily basis.

Job Requirements and Responsibilities:

• Selling fall and holiday plant materialto customers
• Properly maintain andmerchandise plants
• Maintain awareness ofall promotions and ads.
• Provide excellentcustomer service with courteous assistance.
• Responsible forincreasing sales through suggestive selling and tie-in sales forproducts/merchandise and Garden Club.
• Offer suggestions ofproduct care and maintenance to all customers
• Must be customer-oriented,friendly, and outgoing
• Ensure that the salesarea is clean and attractive with only quality merchandise on display
• Receive merchandise,price merchandise, and neatly display items within the department
• Complete all paperworkrequired in a precise and timely manner
• Unload merchandisefrom trucks as required
• Assist in inventory asdirected
• Follow the monthlyplanner for product displays and merchandising
• Ensure that themerchandise has the proper tags and signage
• Assist with otherspecial duties and projects as directed by the Department Manager.

Must be able to:

• Stand and walk up to 8 hours per day
• Lift up to 50 pounds
• Adjust to seasonal temperature
• Work weekends
• Pass criminal background check
