English Gardens is seeking a Greenhouse Sales Associate for a seasonal Plymouth, MI position. You will contribute to creating Fresh Greens Porch Pots and Wreaths for sale and fulfill customer specialty requests in a greenhouse setting, which is an outdoor position requiring tolerance to cold weather.

As a Seasonal Associate, you’ll interact with customers daily, aiming to meet sales goals and exceed expectations.

Qualifications

• Seasonal greenhouse associate in Plymouth, MI for Fall/Winter decor.
• Must be comfortable working in cold weather and standing.
• Customer-focused with upsell and promotion skills.

Responsibilities

• Sell fall and holiday plant materials to customers.
• Maintain and merchandise plants.
• Keep aware of promotions and ads.

The primary responsibility of this job is to create Fresh Greens Porch Pots and Wreaths for sale and to complete customer specialty requests. You will work in the Greenhouse- considered an outside position and you must be able to work in cold weather.

Our Seasonal Associates play a very important role inthe success of our stores. All Associates interact with customers and areresponsible for meeting sales goals and exceeding customer expectations on adaily basis.

Job Requirements and Responsibilities:

• Selling fall and holiday plant materialto customers
• Properly maintain andmerchandise plants
• Maintain awareness ofall promotions and ads.
• Provide excellentcustomer service with courteous assistance.
• Responsible forincreasing sales through suggestive selling and tie-in sales forproducts/merchandise and Garden Club.
• Offer suggestions ofproduct care and maintenance to all customers.
• Must be customer-oriented,friendly, and outgoing.
• Ensure that the salesarea is clean and attractive with only quality merchandise on display.
• Receive merchandise,price merchandise, and neatly display items within the department.
• Complete all paperworkrequired in a precise and timely manner.

• Ensure that themerchandise has the proper tags and signage.

Must be able to:

• Stand and walk up to 8 hours per day
