Job summary

Gotham Greens is seeking Production Assistants for our New York greenhouse operations. These hands-on roles require individuals who enjoy practical, manual tasks and can lift up to 50 pounds while standing for full shifts in a fast-paced setting.

You will assist in harvesting, packing, inspecting produce, sanitizing work areas, and loading pallets and trucks, all while maintaining strict hygiene and dress code. Training is provided and reliability is valued.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to stand for an 8-hour shift.
• Comfortable working in summer heat and a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.

Responsibilities

• Assist in harvesting and packing of leafy vegetables and herbs.
• Inspect produce and prepare for boxing with proper sanitation.
• Clean and sanitize packhouse, greenhouse, and related areas.
• Load products onto pallets and trucks; assist with loading supplies.
• Maintain hygiene, wear gloves, aprons and hair nets; adhere to dress code.
