Responsibilities

• Provide daily care to greenhouse and nursery plants, including watering and pruning.
• Inspect plant material for disease, pests, light, temperature, and humidity.
• Record data and maintain records; notify greenhouse manager of irregularities.
• Prepare soil mixes as designated by greenhouse manager.
• Move materials such as soil, stone, soil mixes, fertilizer.
• Perform routine maintenance on greenhouse and nursery equipment.
• Maintain work area in a clean and orderly condition.
• Weekend coverage, specifically Sundays, required.
