Job summary

Barrette Workforce Solutions, LLC is seeking an experienced Project Director to oversee a major greenfield food manufacturing project in Georgia, based at the existing plant in Newnan with responsibility for the new facility in LaGrange.

The project targets a late 2028 opening and requires coordinating internal teams, design-build partners, contractors, consultants, and international leadership across time zones.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience managing construction projects and budgets.
• 5+ years leading large-scale greenfield projects with budgets >$300M.
• Experience delivering at least 5 industrial projects, including one >$100M.
• Greenfield project experience in food or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the greenfield project from development through delivery.
• Develop and manage scope, budgets, schedules, milestones.
• Oversee design-build firms, GCs, engineers, and consultants.
• Monitor critical path, identify risks, and implement solutions.
• Manage changes to scope, schedule, costs and negotiations.
• Coordinate with operations, procurement, quality, finance.
• Guide permitting and regulatory approvals.
• Promote safety culture and ensure compliance.
• Provide senior leadership with progress and financial updates.
• Participate in weekly calls with international leadership.
