Job summary

Saint Elizabeth Community is seeking a Shahbaz/CNA for a Green House Home. This part-time role offers 7:00–15:30, 16:00–20:00, or 15:00–23:30 shifts with pay of $23.66–$24.43 per hour plus a $1.50 evening differential.

The position emphasizes compassionate elder care, daily living support, and close teamwork in a small 12-bedroom home. Responsibilities include caregiving, meal support, personal care, and engagement in meaningful activities.

Qualifications

• Current and valid CNA license in Rhode Island.
• 1 year CNA experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to utilize an electronic medical records system.
• Must have completed or be willing to complete Basic First Aid.
• ServeSafe course.

Responsibilities

• Be a member of a self-managed team providing care for Elders, including cooking, laundry, housekeeping and personal care.
• Support Elders with activities of daily living and other needs to promote high quality of life.
• Provide personal care and services per the Elder's care plan and report changes to clinical team.
• Manage daily household functions, meals, housekeeping and laundry.
• Engage Elders in meaningful daily activities to enhance their lives.

Part Time | Days or Evenings | Offering 7am - 3:30 pm, 4pm - 8pm and 3pm - 11:30pm Shifts!

Pay: $23.66 - $24.43/hr (Based on Experience)

PLUS $1.50/hr Evening shift differentials

What will I do as a Green House Homes Shahbaz/CNA?

• Be a member of a self-managed and providing care for our elders including cooking, laundry, housekeeping and personal care.
• Protect, sustain and nurture the elders by providing assistance with activities of daily living and meeting other needs.
• Assist elders in a manner that promotes a high quality of life and a positive elderhood.
• Shahbaz are the primary partners to the elders in day to day life and care.
• Shahbaz are in close and consistent relationships with the Elders and meet their needs as effectively as possible.
• Provide personal care and services and implements the Elder's care plan approaches. Shahbaz report elder status and changes in condition to clinical support team members
• Manage the daily functions of the household by assisting with meals, housekeeping and laundry services.
• Engage Elders in daily meaningful activities of interest to enhance the Elder's life.

Qualifications for a Green House Homes Shahbaz/CNA:

• Current and Valid C.N.A. license in Rhode Island
• 1 year experience (CNA)
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to utilize an electronic medical records system
• Must have completed or be willing to complete:
• Basic First Aid course
• ServeSafe course
