Job summary

PMI Entertainment Group in Green Bay is seeking a Social Media and Creative Content Internship for the 2026-2027 season. This part-time, on-site role requires working game nights and weekends from September 2026 through April/May 2027, supporting promotions, players and coaches.

You will gain hands-on experience in social media, video editing and content creation, while collaborating with the Gamblers marketing team and local media.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or enrolled in a related field; internship season 2026-2027.
• Must be able to work game nights and weekends.
• Excellent people, writing, and communication skills; reliable and eager to learn in a fast-paced sports setting.
• Proficiency with social media platforms and basic content creation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Generate new and creative ideas to highlight promotions, players and coaches via social media.
• Interview coaches and players during the week and after games.
• Help promote the Gamblers brand at events and locations.
• Assist marketing in promoting upcoming games.
• Work with local media to promote games.
• Attend most home games (90%) including potential playoff games; weekends/holidays.
• Assist with pre/post-game activities (setup, teardown, giveaways).
• Maintain 10–20 office hours per week as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

General Summary:

The Green Bay Gamblers Hockey Club is currently accepting applications for a Social Media and Creatvie Content Internship for the 2026-2027 season. The internship will start in September 2026 and run through April/May 2027. Candidates must be able to work game nights and weekends throughout the entire season. Applicants should possess excellent people skills, be reliable, timely, willing to learn in a fast-paced environment, and be eager to work in sports.

As a participant in the Gamblers internship program, you will gain valuable experience in all aspects of the Green Bay Gamblers organization. Previous interns have acquired full-time employment with sports teams of all levels.

Job Duties:

• Come up with new and creative ideas to highlight promotions, our players and coaches via social media outlets.


• Interview coaches and players during the week and after games.


• Help promote the Gamblers brand at various events and locations.


• Assist the marking team in promoting upcoming games.


• Work with local media outlets to promote the Gamblers.


• Work at least 90% of home games, including any potential playoff games (mostly weekends and holidays).


• Assist with any pre and post-game activities (Set up, tear down, giveaways, etc.).


• Be able to work 10 to 20 office hours per week as needed.


• Other duties as assigned.

QualificationsKnowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• Possess excellent communication and writing skills.


• Offer superior customer service.


• Proficient in Microsoft Office, X, Facebook, YouTube, Tik-Tok, Instagram and Snap Chat


• Skills in design and video editing a plus


• Can work independently and demonstrate initiative.


• Able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize.


• A positive and professional attitude will be always expected.
