Job summary

YPAI is seeking Greek speakers to record natural conversations from home. This remote role is open to native or near-native Greek speakers in Cyprus. You’ll record conversations on topics provided by the project, speaking as you normally would, with no script.

Audio quality must meet project guidelines, session by session. Applicants must consent to being recorded and sign per-project agreements. The work is invitation-based, with payments issued every two weeks via PayPal, Wise, or bank

Job description

Get paid to talk: hold natural, recorded conversations in Greek, from home. It suits native or near-native speakers with a quiet room and a device to record on.

Remote, from home. This listing is for Greek speakers in and around Paphos. The same work is open to Greek speakers anywhere in Cyprus.

What the work is for

Speech systems have to follow people who talk freely, not only people reading aloud. Spontaneous conversation is the one thing scripted recordings cannot give a model.

The work

• Hold recorded conversations on the topics the project provides.
• Talk the way you normally do. There is no script to read.
• Keep the audio quality within the project's guidelines for the whole session.

What to expect

• Before you record, the platform takes you through a microphone test and an intake step.
• Some projects record you alone, others in pairs or groups.

What you bring

• Your own device to record on.
• A quiet room to talk in.

You need

• Native or near-native command of Greek.
• Consent to be recorded, signed for each project in an agreement that sets how the recordings may be used.
• 18 years or older.

Good to know

• Not every device or room passes the audio check.

Pay

€16–€24/hr. Rate shown is for your country.
