Nursery Practitioner (unqualified practitioners considered). Full-Time, Permanent Position. Hours: 37 hours per week - 39 weeks per year (includes INSET). Working hours 8:30am – 5:00pm (Mon, Tues, Weds, Fri), 8:30am - 4:30pm (Th) with 1 hour lunch break. Starting Salary: £23,403. Start Date: 1 September 2025.

Great Oldbury Primary Academy Little Learners is a warm and welcoming nursery dedicated to providing high-quality early years education and care for 2-, 3- and 4-year-olds. We are committed to fostering a nurturing environment where children can thrive and develop their full potential.

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for working with children and a strong understanding of early childhood development. You will be responsible for creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment that supports the physical, emotional, and social development of the children in our care. A level 3 early years qualification (NNEB, NVQ3, BTEC or equivalent) is desired, but not an essential requirement. All applicants must have at least 1 year experience working within an early years setting.

Responsible to the Nursery Manager you will plan and implement engaging and age-appropriate activities, monitor and support children's development and learning, ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of all children. You will build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, maintain accurate records and reports on children's progress and collaborate with the team to create a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
