Job summary

Wind River Environmental, LLC in Landisville, PA is seeking a full-time grease trap technician to service commercial kitchens. You will locate and uncover traps, pump grease, inspect buildup, and ensure systems are fully operational while coordinating with customers.

• Ability to read and interpret documents including safety rules, instructions and maps.
• Strong communication with customers, co-workers and management.
• Ability to work independently and manage pressure to meet deadlines.
• Basic computer skills (email, internet).
• Ability to perform basic math functions.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective communication between customers and Wind River Environmental.
• Inspect grease trap buildup and hazards.
• Prepare for each service job (truck, tools, etc.).
• Drive to and from job sites following traffic laws.
• Remove grease from commercial grease trap systems.
• Submit quotes and service paperwork to management as required.
• Respond to trouble or emergency calls promptly.
• Follow all Wind River Environmental protocols.
• Work overtime, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Participate in on-call rotations and DOT compliance.
• Wear PPE and maintain safety standards.
• Interact with customers on site.
