Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in grease formulation development and manufacturing.
• Understanding of physical and chemical properties of lubricant base oils and thickeners, additives, and their impact on performance.
• Understanding grease manufacturing processes and optimization.
• Understanding grease application knowledge.
• Strong foundation in statistical analysis, rheology, tribology, and project management.
• Excellent understanding of physical and chemical analytical techniques.
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary global teams.
• Capable of technical investigation and problem solving.
• Capable of preparing project proposals and report writing.
• BS/MS/PhD Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from product profile definition to commercial launch, including formulation, finalization and roll-out support.
• Develop test plans, conduct analysis and review data.
• Screen new additive and base stock technologies utilizing bench scale and large scale test rigs.
• Lab-scale grease manufacturing and commercial scale-up.
• Conduct field trials collaborating with field engineers and customers.
• Identify intellectual property opportunities.
• Provide regular project updates to relevant stakeholders.
• Determine technical readiness for product release.
• Collaborate with OEMs on requirements and testing.
• Develop reputation as a recognized expert within the company and the industry.
• Document project outcomes, capturing key learnings and future recommendations.
• Grease formulation development and deployment.
