Job summary

Kirkland & Ellis is seeking a Security GRC Specialist II to strengthen security programs, reduce risk, and help organizations meet evolving cybersecurity expectations. You’ll be a key member of the GRC team, leading core programs while collaborating with technical teams, business stakeholders, clients and vendors to ensure controls, policies, and risk practices are effective and clearly communicated.

Responsibilities include leading client and third-party assessments, creating and maintaining

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in IT security or related field required.
  • 5+ years of hands-on information security experience.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST, SOC, SIG.
  • Experience with AI governance, security, and risk management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

  • Lead client and third-party security assessments and risk documentation.
  • Create and maintain security policies, standards, and guidance.
  • Manage IT security risk and compliance programs.
  • Advise stakeholders as an information security SME.
  • Oversee third-party security vendor risk management.
  • Manage security awareness programs and training.
