Job summary

Wispr Flow is hiring a Security Assurance & GRC Lead to own customer assurance programs and set the roadmap across SOC 2, ISO 27001, privacy, and enterprise requirements. You will manage security conversations with sophisticated buyers and guide cross-functional teams, ensuring accurate representations of posture while indicating gaps when needed.

Qualifications

• Depth in GRC, security compliance, customer assurance, IT audit, or risk management.
• Experience leading customer security reviews and explaining security to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Working knowledge of SOC 2, ISO 27001, or similar frameworks and ability to translate them to a practical roadmap.
• Judgment to differentiate blockers vs. addressable items and escalate appropriately.
• Track record of creating structure around manual or ambiguous work and improving systems.

Responsibilities

• Own the GRC roadmap across SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, privacy and risk management.
• Lead customer assurance end-to-end: calls, questionnaires, due-diligence, vendor assessments, RFP security sections.
• Engage early on major opportunities and build a security plan with Sales.
• Improve Trust Center content and security narratives for self-service resilience.
• Track turnaround times, standardize repetitive work, and keep security tooling up to date.
• Develop the team by guiding the compliance engineer and refining processes.
