Job summary

MYR Group Inc. is seeking an IT GRC Security Analyst to contribute to governance, risk and compliance within our security program.

The role combines cybersecurity, technology, and compliance to support assessments, analysis, documentation, and improvement initiatives. The candidate will analyze technologies, perform risk assessments, and communicate cyber risk to stakeholders, collaborating with technical teams and business units in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in IT, cybersecurity, compliance, system administration, networking, or related technical discipline.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Azure, Windows networking or cloud technologies
• Exposure to cybersecurity programs, audits, risk assessments, vulnerability management, or compliance initiatives
• Experience gathering and analyzing technical information and working with cross-functional technical teams is preferred

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing and new technologies, cloud services and business solutions to understand associated security and compliance considerations
• Perform risk analysis on new and existing services to support security posture
• Evaluate and summarize the technical operation of systems and communicate cyber risk
• Respond to requests for security compliance by business customers
• Evaluate documentation for validity, applicability and credibility of supplied information
• Support implementation of security initiatives by coordinating between technical teams and business stakeholders
• Stay current with emerging cybersecurity threats, technologies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices
• Essential functions performed at a company-designated office or field location
• Understand and comply with the Company's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics Policy and other standards
