Job summary

OpenAI is seeking an experienced Product Lifecycle Assurance IC to scale our GRC function across the product stack, ensuring compliance at launch and regression detection. You will partner with product, security, legal, and privacy teams to maintain security, privacy and compliance claims while providing assurance to customers, auditors, and regulators.

• Strong technical product lifecycle assurance and security and privacy compliance experience in fast development cycles.
• Ability to build and monitor controls, metrics, and dashboards for product assurance goals.
• Experience leading cross-functional programs spanning product, security, legal, and privacy.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end product assurance from development to post-launch monitoring.
• Govern safety, deployment, security and legal reviews to surface product risk and mitigations.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration and accountability across the program.
• Build scalable controls in infrastructure, workflows and launch tooling for assurance.
