Job summary

PwC Greece seeks an ambitious Internal Audit Associate/Senior Associate to join its Governance, Risk, Compliance & Internal Audit team in Athens. You will help clients strengthen IT controls, risk management, and cybersecurity across complex IT environments, contributing to improved governance and resilient operations.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of IT internal/external audit experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field.
• Master’s degree in cybersecurity, network security, cloud computing or autonomous systems.
• Knowledge of IT controls, risk management, and cybersecurity.

Responsibilities

• Be a member of a team to succeed in performing IT internal audit activities.
• Support IT Audit risk assessment and audit plan development.
• Assess secure operation of complex IT systems and infrastructure.
• Evaluate Internal Control Systems against industry standards and suggest improvements.
• Assess compliance of IT Operations against DORA, NIS, GDPR, and EU AI Act.
• Provide insights to improve internal controls testing and risk management.
• Perform detailed testing and data analysis as part of internal audit work.
• Prepare testing templates, presentations and visualizations for senior staff.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in IT internal audit.
