Job summary

Motion Recruitment in New York, NY is seeking a GRC Engineer to lead a new cybersecurity and GRC service line for high-growth startup clients.

You will own client security programs end-to-end, bridging governance, risk and compliance with hands-on engineering, including audits, endpoint security, MDM, and IAM deployments, while communicating complex concepts to non-technical founders.

Qualifications

• 5 to 7+ years bridging Information Security, IT operations and GRC implementation.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a brand-new cybersecurity and GRC service line for high-growth startup clients.
• Travel to client sites to conduct assessments as the authoritative face of the cybersecurity division.
• Own client security programs end-to-end including audit readiness, gap analysis and auditor liaison.
• Deploy, tune, and harden endpoint security, MDM fleets, and identity solutions to meet compliance codes.
• Create, manage and enforce comprehensive security policies across environments.
