Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is hiring a GRC Specialist to strengthen governance, risk, and compliance across ISO 27001, GDPR, SOC 2 and more. You’ll own the compliance knowledge in our platform, run audits, and support customers and auditors.

You will work with co-founders and CS Lead, translating gaps into product work while coordinating with cross-functional teams. German (C1/C2) and English are required; 3+ years in information security and GRC, plus ISO 27001 project experience, are

Qualifications

German language at C1/C2 and English fluent.
3+ years in information security and GRC.
Led at least one ISO 27001 certification project as implementer/auditor.
Experience running at least two internal audits.
Hands-on experience with a GRC platform like the company or similar.
Depth in at least one framework beyond ISO 27001 (TISAX, SOC 2, GDPR, NIS2, etc.).
Strong project management skills and ability to deliver concrete results.

Responsibilities

Own compliance frameworks in the platform (ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, NIS 2, DORA, and more).
Run internal audits from kickoff to final report.
Keep several audits moving and on schedule.
Implement ISO 27001 and adjacent frameworks for customers.
Own the quality of compliance content, templates, and playbooks.
Close framework gaps and incorporate auditor feedback into product improvements.
Collaborate with product and engineering to translate gaps into work.
Coordinate with CS, Product, and Founders to align priorities.
