Job summary

ClarkDietrich Building Systems seeks an Assurance & Compliance Accountant to partner with the Corporate Controller and help shape the GRC program through process improvement and scalable tools. You will document key processes, support control testing and remediation, and maintain GRC documentation and ERP-related reporting across the organization.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, collaboration, and ongoing process automation.

Qualifications

• CPA or progress toward CPA; 3–5 years public accounting.; Strong GAAP/IFRS, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS, financial reporting, and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and maturity of the GRC program across enterprise-wide areas.
• Document key processes via narratives, risk/control matrices, process mapping, and flowcharting to support risk and control assessments.
• Design and support monitoring activities to assess adherence to policies, control expectations, and GRC requirements.
• Monitor emerging regulations and governance trends, providing guidance on related GRC impacts.
• Lead training sessions on GRC documentation, policies, processes, and system usage.
• Assist with ERP changes by collaborating with IT, external consultants, and internal stakeholders.
• Support Corporate Controller in overseeing core accounting and compliance operations.
• Assist with audits by preparing documentation and coordinating responses.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including process automation and system enhancements.
