Job summary

Graze Craze Cumberland is hiring a Food Preparation and Customer Service Associate (Grazologist) in Smyrna, GA. This role blends kitchen prep, charcuterie assembly, and frontline service, with training provided and a strong emphasis on teamwork and accuracy.

Hours are Tue–Sat, 11:00 AM–6:00 PM, about 32.5 paid hours weekly, with a 30-minute unpaid meal break. Starting pay is $16.00/hour, plus employee discount and growth opportunities within a locally owned restaurant family.

Qualifications

• Consistent availability Tuesday through Saturday, 11:00 AM–6:00 PM.
• Reliable attendance and professional communication.
• Willingness to perform all aspects of the position, including food preparation, dishwashing, cleaning, stocking, and customer service.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift or move items weighing up to 25 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to work efficiently and cooperatively in a small-team environment.
• Commitment to food safety, cleanliness, and quality.

Responsibilities

• Food Preparation and Production: Prepare meats, cheeses, fruits, vegetables, dips, and other ingredients according to recipes and food safety standards; Assemble charcuterie boards, boxes, and other products; Package and label orders; Assist with larger catering orders; Maintain product quality.
• Kitchen Cleaning and Organization: Wash dishes and equipment; Clean and sanitize workstations; Execute opening, restocking, and end-of-shift cleaning; Label and store ingredients; Keep workspace organized and safe.
• Customer Service and Team Support: Greet customers, assist with product questions, process orders at POS; Handle transactions accurately; Recommend products; Assist with inventory and catering prep; Support teammates.
• Additional opportunities: occasional local deliveries with driver license and mileage reimbursement per policy.
