Job summary

Amcor Specialty Cartons Americas LLC in North Carolina is seeking a skilled Gravure Press Operator to support the Gravure Operation in press room and material handling. You will ensure correct loading, quality checks, and communicate issues to operators.

The role emphasizes safety, cleanliness, and adherence to OHSE guidelines. The position requires a High School diploma or GED and 1–3 years of related production experience, plus basic mechanical skills and forklift safety awareness.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and physical ability required for production work.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot press-related equipment.
• Lift truck safety training may be required.

Responsibilities

• Receive product from Press, stack and palletize.
• Pull product from press and place on pallets.
• Set up sheet information and print pallet labels.
• Ensure correct loading of product for material handling.
• Review jobs for quality and accuracy and inform operators of issues.
• Maintain highest quality of printed product with minimal errors.
• Send product samples to Quality Auditors as required.
• Notify Operator promptly of problems or errors.
