Quad is hiring for an Offset Plate / Gravure Cylinder Operator in Wisconsin. You will bend web offset plates, run daily maintenance, and ensure quality while handling gravure components on a production floor.

The role requires basic mechanical skills, familiarity with Windows-based systems and flexible shifts to meet production needs. Prior press layout knowledge is a plus, with comprehensive benefits offered.

Formación

• Basic Windows OS knowledge relevant to plate room systems.
• Basic mechanical skills for equipment handling.
• Flexible work schedules to meet production needs.
• Knowledge of press layout configurations (saddle stitch, binding) is helpful.
• Ability to read, comprehend and write simple instructions and communications.

Responsabilidades

• Load/unload platemaking materials to bend plates for presses.
• Maintain platemaking equipment with routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Check plates and cylinders for quality and accuracy.
• Track components through production using Smart tools.
• Cylinder stripping, electro-plating and engraving tasks.
• Load/unload gravure cylinders using W.I.P./LTS systems and cranes.
• Perform miscellaneous production duties including cleaning and inspection.
• General area cleanup and 6S housekeeping.
