Archon Protection, Inc. is seeking a Security Patrol Officer to patrol properties, enforce rules, and document observations. The role emphasizes vigilance, report accuracy, and timely disturbance investigations in Ventura County.

Extensive training will be provided by a Security Supervisor. Local candidates only, with a requirement to work nights, weekends, and holidays when needed.

• Good driving record and active driver’s license is required.

As a Security Patrol Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of various client locations.

• Patrolling residential and commercial properties both randomly and regularly, while creating detailed reports based on your observations.
• Enforce private property rules and regulations and investigate disturbances promptly.
• Take accurate and thorough notes of any unusual occurrences.
• Reporting in detail any suspicious incidents to the appropriate authorities.
• Protecting the company’s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment at all times.

This role requires vigilance, attention to detail, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols.

Extensive training will be provided by a Security Supervisor.

Pay Range

$20 per hour to $24.25 per hour

Position Requirements

Typing test will be administered during the interview. Minimum of 45 WPM is required.

Basic Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old (BPC Section 7582.8)
• Possess a High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must possess or be willing to obtain a valid California Guard Card issued by the Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS).
• Undergo a criminal history background check through the California Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) (BPC Sections 7581 and 7583.9)
• Basic reading, writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Must be physically fit, able to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Must be available to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong attention to detail and situational awareness. Good judgement and problem-solving skills. Professional demeanor and appearance. Reliable and punctual.
