Job summary

Lancesoft is seeking a Manufacturing Maintenance Mechanic II for a 6-month contract in Clackamas, OR. The role operates on the 3rd shift (10 PM–6:30 AM) with weekend work and overtime.

You will maintain electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and repair production lines, conveyors, robots, and PLCs. Qualified candidates have 5+ years in manufacturing, strong schematic literacy, and experience with fabrication and welding.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school education or equivalent.
• 5+ years in a manufacturing/production environment.
• Experience with mechanical and/or electrical repair.
• Knowledge of fabrication, machine shop tools, hydraulics and/or pneumatics.
• Ability to read schematics, electrical diagrams, and blueprints.
• Forklift certification preferred; will be certified before client facility.
• OSHA 10 or CPR certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain electrical, mechanical, hydraulic & pneumatic equipment and perform preventive maintenance.
• Follow safety policies, GMP, and food safety practices.
• Perform changeovers, repairs, and troubleshooting of plant production equipment.
• Diagnose complex problems with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems; review blueprints and manuals.
• Execute preventive maintenance per schedules and document maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with vendors or contractors; ensure spare parts availability.
• Train staff to operate equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain organized spare parts inventory and clean work area.
• Complete work orders and maintain maintenance logs.
