Archon Protection, Inc. is seeking a Security Guard to ensure safety for residential communities or commercial facilities in California. You will patrol, report incidents, enforce rules, and protect property while staying vigilant and professional.

The position requires providing detailed notes, performing parking enforcement when needed, and coordinating with authorities for suspicious activity. Graveyard shifts are available for local candidates only.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old and meet state requirements.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must possess or be willing to obtain a California BSIS Guard Card.
• Undergo DOJ and FBI background checks.
• Physically fit to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine foot patrols to deter crime at the client location.
• Write detailed reports based on observations, incidents, and maintenance issues.
• Enforce client rules and secure site amenity areas as requested.
• Perform parking enforcement and towing as needed.
• Conduct GPS checks and take accurate notes of occurrences.
• Report suspicious activity to authorities as required.
• Protect company property and staff by maintaining a safe environment.

Job description

As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of residential communities or commercial facilities.

• Conducting routine and regular foot patrols of the client location deterring suspicious activity and disturbances.
• Writing detailed reports based on observations, incidents, violations, and maintenance issues.
• Enforcing community or facilities rules and regulations per client request.
• Securing site amenity areas.
• Conducting parking enforcement via parking violation notices and/or towing vehicles.
• Performing GPS checks.
• Take accurate and thorough notes of any unusual occurrences.
• Reporting in detail any suspicious incidents to the appropriate authorities.
• Protecting the company’s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment at all times.

This role requires high attention to detail, professionalism, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols.

Extensive training will be provided by a Security Supervisor.

Pay Range

$18.50 per hour to $20 per hour

Schedule requires Graveyard shifts.

Basic Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old (BPC Section 7582.8)
• Possess a High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must possess or be willing to obtain a valid California Guard Card issued by the Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS).
• Undergo a criminal history background check through the California Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) (BPC Sections 7581 and 7583.9)
• Basic reading, writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Must be physically fit, able to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Must be available to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong attention to detail and situational awareness. Good judgement and problem-solving skills. Professional demeanor and appearance. Reliable and punctual.

Position Requirements

• Available to work various graveyard schedules. Weekends Required.
• Basic smart phone knowledge.
• Intermediate communication and customer service skills.
